The Arlington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is sponsoring its second Literacy Cafe on Saturday, May 1st, 7pm at AISDs Mac Bernd Professional Building (1111 Arbrook Blvd., across from Parks Mall). The purpose of this event is to promote literacy and scholarship. Mike Guinn, Co-Founder of Fort Worth National Poetry Slam will be hosting the event. Featured artist include National Spoken Word Artist, Audacious, members of the Fort Worth National Poetry Slam, DFW Youth Poetry Slam Team and recording artist Ms. KeKe. Music will be provided by Michael Hubbards Band.

Admission is the purchase of a book from the onsite book vendor. All books will be donated to Metro Academy of Math and Science. Books can be pre-purchased or purchased at the door.
